Glorious Goodwood Day 1 Information

Over the next few days we will be doing a write up for each day of the Glorious Goodwood festival. These selections and pointers will be available for all to see and use as they please, and we just hope that it aids you in making it a profitable week against the bookies.

Paddy Power are running a promotion on Day 1, if your horse comes 2nd then they will refund your bet as a free bet, which looks worth taking advantage of if the odds are right!

1.55 1m 1f 192yds Class 2 bet365 com Handicap – Nabucco 9/1 EW. Will have to overcome this poor draw, but still has more progress to come and mark not beyond the John Gosden selection.

2.30 5f Class 1 bet365 Molecomb Stakes – Reroute 5/1.Ran well in the Queen Mary Stakes last time and she should have plenty more to come as looks a filly going places for Ed Walker

3.05 7f Class 1 bet365 Lennox Stakes – Garswood 13/2 EW. A horse we are very keen on and did well for us last season. A couple of good efforts since returning from winter break and leaves the impression more to give even in this company.

3.40 1m 6f Class 2 bet365 Summer Handicap – Oriental Fox 5/1 (Paddy Power). Unlucky last time out and can give this in form yard another winner.

4.15 6f Class 2 Casino At bet365 E B F Maiden Stakes – No Bet

4.50 1m 0f Class 3 Poker At bet365 Handicap  – Captain Cat 9/1 EW (Paddy Power). Still relatively unexposed and again one that has to overcome a poor draw but with first time hood on, should be ready for this after break.Ran well on last years reappearance and yard going well.

5.25 5f Class 3 Mobile At bet365 Handicap – Jedward 10/1 EW (Bet365 paying 5 places). Back to form last twice and with Spencer taking over in the saddle for this, mark does not look beyond him.
