2.30 6f class 1 Albany Stakes (Fillies' Group 3) –

Tutu Nguru silkTutu Nguru 12/1 EW

This looks a tightly knit  opener to day 4 at Royal Ascot. We would advise to air on the side of caution but we quite fancy the chances of the William Haggas runner, given the manner of her maiden success at Lingfield. Well supported that day and clearly much more to come so at the prices looks worth a go.

3.05 1m 4f class 1 King Edward VII Stakes (Group 2) –

Balios silkBalios 9/2

Shaped like a smart type on both starts to date and now with the step up in trip looks an exciting prospect and worth backing at this kind of price against a fav that is certainly not bomb proof.

3.40 6f class 1 Commonwealth Cup (Group 1) –

Hootenanny silkHootenanny 10/3

The Wesley Ward runner  is a solid looking option, winning here last year, and held form well since. Has recent run under belt and should be bang on here to give punters a run for their money.

Erectile viagra 100mg tablets dysfunction is a serious problem, which is affecting men all over the world. Ervedya silkErvedya 9/2

French raider who taken another step forward this season, looking better than ever when winning the French 1000 Guineas last time. At the current prices, looks a good chunk of value.

5.00 1m 4f class 2 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (Handicap) –

Dashing Star silkDashing Star 9/1 EW

Ran well on return when 2nd at Newmarket, and should come on for that run today. with the aid of Ryan Moore in the saddle. Sitting on a fair mark and should give good run for money.

5.35 2m class 1 Queen's Vase (Listed) –

Bantry Bay silkBantry Bay 4/1

Aidan O'Brien holds a strong hand here and preference is for the race fit Bantry Bay who should be fine with this step up in trip on only his 3rd start. Can take this step up in trip in stride and especially at the prices has to be the selection.

Royal Ascot Day 3 Pointers

royal ascot

Below are today's pointers and tips for the the third day of Royal Ascot. Good luck, and enjoy to anyone who is in attendance today!

2.30 5f class 1 Norfolk Stakes (Group 2) –

Log Out Island silkLog Out Island 2/1

Likely to be a two horse race, between the two Hannon horses, but our preference is for Log Out Island who made a very encouraging and promising debut over C&D in April. Looked a decent time and with more progress to come can run the fav close. At the prices, just edges it for us.

3.05 1m 2f class 1 Tercentenary Stakes (Formerly The Hampton Court Stakes) (Group 3) –

Disegno silkDisegno 8/1 EW

Shapes as if there is a big performance to come, a very close 2nd last time at Chester in a listed race when upped in trip last time out. Quicker ground today and should run close at a decent price.

3.40 1m 4f class 1 Ribblesdale Stakes (Fillies' Group 2) –

Pamona silkPamona 7/1 EW.

Many of the healthcare providers strongly recommend this medication for happy 100mg viagra and fulfilled sexual health. It reminds 100mg viagra professional me again of how important it is to get the sachet over spoon and swallow then drink a large glass of water. Made good start to career last season and was back on track with a good third when upped in trip on return at Newbury last time, could have finished closer than result suggests. Up in trip again and very interesting type.

4.20 2m 4f class 1 Gold Cup (British Champions Series) (Group 1)  –

Simenon silkSimenom 12/1 EW

Couple times course and distance winner, and with reappearance effort under belt could be a solid each way bet now back up in trip, with stamina assured.

5.00 1m class 2 Britannia Stakes (Heritage Handicap)  –

No bet here, with it looking a really tricky puzzle to solve, best to keep your money in your pocket here.

5.35 1m 4f class 2 King George V Stakes (Handicap) –

Taper Tantrum silkTaper Tantrum

Keen on Sir Micaheal Stoute's runner Dissolution but can't have the 7/2 unfortunately in this field. Slice of value here looks to be Taper Tantrum, who was better than result suggests last time out on return. Should be sharper for that run , going up in trip significantly.

Royal Ascot Daily Pointers

royal ascot

Great day of racing ahead at Royal Ascot today, and we have collated the information to bring you some Pointers for Day 2. Whether you use them on a pts system basis, or just to help you make up your mind over a few selections, good luck!

2.30 7f class 1 Jersey Stakes –

Bossy Guest silk Bossy Guest 9/1 EW

Ivawood sets a decent standard here and we wouldn't put people off backing at 2/1 as looks a fair enough price. We however prefer the value that Bossy Guest represents who ran a good race at Newmarket when finishing a place behind Ivawood. Selection meets the hot fav on better terms here and at the current prices looks well worth an ew chance with the drop in trip another positive.

3.05 5f class 1 Queen Mary Stakes (Fillies' Group 2) –

Besharah silk Besharah 6/1 EW

A C&D winner on debut and backed that up by landing the odds in comfortable fashion last time at Windsor. Looks a smart filly and with further improvement, is expected to go close today.

3.40 1m class 1 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes (Formerly Windsor Forest Stakes)  –

Hard to oppose Integral here but don't feel comfortable backing at 10/11 so would be a non betting race for us. Doesn't stop it being an interesting one to watch that is for sure!

4.20 1m 2f class 1 Prince Of Wales's Stakes (British Champions Series) (Group 1) –
Extremely painful feelings occur below the shoulder area or at the back within the left side or near the breast bone Patients having chills and high fever Occurrence of vomiting and nausea Immediate medical buying viagra in canada treatment would be required. Spielberg silk Speilberg 8/1 EW

The Japanese runner is a fascinating one for us here.Won a Group 1 at Tokyo last November and excellent third to Epiphaneia in Japan Cup next time, and with reappearance run under belt can prove a worthy challenger and looks worth a go at each way prices.

5.00 1m class 2 Royal Hunt Cup (Heritage Handicap) –

Chil The Kite silk Chil The Kite 16/1 EW

Wide Open race and not really one for taking a punt in.If there was one we would pick, mainly out of loyalty, it would be Chil The Kite at the prices.

5.35 1m class 1 Sandringham Handicap (Fillies' Listed) –

Royal blue. Always Smile

The unbeaten Godolphion representative is a relatively short price here but looks a great opportunity to go in again and we can't get away from that.Latest Doncaster form looks strong and can take this step up in class in stride.

This weekend's racing was arguably one of the busiest in the racing calendar. French Champion Hurdle, Oaks, Epsom Derby & the Belmont Stakes. Hurricane Fly out the frame, 50/1 Oaks winner, Gosden supplements the winner & American Pharaoh ends the 37 year drought.

American Pharaoh lined up for the final leg of the Triple Crown on Saturday night. Another hopeful coming into the race having won the Kentucky Derby & Preakness Stakes. Victor Espinoza took his mount to the front & led. He made it look easy as he galloped the field out of contention, etching his name into the history books. American Pharaoh went one better than California Chrome did last year & is the first to do so since Affirmed in 1978. A five & a half length battering was handed out to contenders of the Belmount stakes with second favourite, Frosted finishing up in second place beating Keen IceMubtaahij ran a fine race & just missed out on a place, finishing 4th. Particularly impressive I felt as Mubtaahij was one not subject to the American staple, Lasix.

Treve on course to rewrite history

This weekend we saw Treve line up for the first time this season. Fresh off a break after winning her second Ark, Treve was priced shortly to oblige over at Saint-Cloud. She showed every bit of class a dual ark winner should & set for home alone dismissing the field with ease. Trainer Head-Maarek  reports Treve has come out of the race in terrific form & will come on from that run for her next target, the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on the 28th of June. She bids to become the first horse to win the prestigious Ark, 3 consecutive times. Currently around 7/2 to achieve the feat. Can she make history in October?

Limato went to Haydock on Saturday in an attempt to stretch his unbeaten run to 6. The ground was not in the Henry Candy's runners favour, with the 3 year old looking for a firmer surface underfoot.  One that seemed to relish conditions was Haggis' Adaay. An on form Hanagan gave him an excellent spin, dropping him in off the pace early on. Hanagan put Adaay's turn of foot to good use at the business end to relegate Limato into second spot. The pair will meet again in the Commonwealth Cup at Ascot where the likes of Tiggy Wiggy will also line up for the prestigious prize.

Weekend Review

I was hoping this weekend's racing would give me some useful pointers for a few of the upcoming classics. Safe to say, I think I enter the week with more questions!

The Oaks trial saw O'Brien's odds on hot pot, Wedding Vow turned over by HaggasToujours L'amour. Wedding Vow only managed third under Ryan Moore, who was left with plenty to do out the back of the field coming round the bend for home. The gaps eventually arrived for Moore & went after the leaders but couldn't find enough to get by Toujours L'amour or BellajeuIt will be interesting to see how the form of this race plays out with Wedding Vow finishing behind last week's 1000 Guineas winner Legatissimo, last time out.

The Derby Trial sold a similar story. This time Gosden sent out a hot shot in the shape of ChristophermarloweMagic Dancer lead the field with all moving forward bar oneKilimanjaro fluffed the break & sat in behind the four for a long way out. Magic Dancer began to wind things up under Pat Dobbs, with Christophermarlowe & Dettori finding nothing off the bridle. Moore left it late but got up on Kilimanjaro to wear down the pace setter Magic Dancer by a length and a quarter. Gosden claimed after the race "He was never going on the ground. As he's by Tapit he wants it fast and the ground was too dead for him today."

McCoy Bids Farewell

This weekend's racing was marked with the retirement of champion jockey A P McCoy. The fairytale ending wasn't to be, as his final rides for boss, J P McManus both finished up 3rd. Surely with McCoy out the picture next season, it's time for Richard Johnson to pick up the award that he's shadowed for so long, second to McCoy a total of fifteen times. Quite fitting that he rode a nice double on Saturday with Menorah & Brother Tedd both obliging for the Philip Hobbs, Johnson partnership. Another notable performer from Saturday at Sandown was young Sean Bowen. At seventeen years old he proved his worth, riding a double on the day & picked up the conditional jockey award, beating Gold Cup winner Nico de Boinville by seven victories.

I really hope Richard Johnson picks up next year's champion jockey award, such a humble gentleman, playing with everyone's emotions shedding a tear after his victory aboard Brother Tedd when asked about his old pal AP McCoy. The most interesting point of all the McCoy feature was when he made a point about it being a numbers game. I felt this was a real insight into what he has done/sacrificed to carve the career that he did, & earn his place in racing history.

Many Clouds wins the 2015 Grand National

This year's grand national revolved around Shutthefrontdoor & Tony McCoy in his last spin around the national fences. The champion jockey went off as short as 7/1 to navigate the field successfully & put in a valiant effort, but wasn't to be finishing up 5th. Last year's winning jockey, Leighton Aspell delivered Many Clouds to victory in the famous steeplechase. The first horse to win the Hennessey & the grand national in the same year. Many Clouds ran no sort of race in the gold cup last month, but came off the back of that run without major repercussions, having not sweated up post race like his usual self. Well fancied Balthazar King took a nasty fall at the 8th fence & is now receiving treatment for suspected broken ribs in Liverpool. Trainer Philip Hobbs reported "They think he's probably broken some ribs. Hopefully he'll be okay."

Notable successors from the Aintree meeting came in the form of Paul Nichols, with his gold cup hope, Silviniaco Conti getting back to winning ways on the flatter track. All Yours managed to spoil favourite backers party as well fancied Hargam failed to materialise. Sam Twiston-Davies took his chance on the 16/1 shot for Nichols, Hargam failing to make the frame. Gordon Elliot had a notably good time in Liverpool with the likes of Don Cossack & Clarcam picking up grade one's, as well as Taglietelle getting the job done in the last on Thursday.

Don Cossack took no prisoners in the Melling Chase destroying the field with a 26 length victory. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Cue Card looking like he was getting back to his old self. Fair enough, he had nothing on the winner & was paddling two from home, but had some smart horses behind him in the likes of Champagne Fever & Al Ferof & put in a brave round with some slick jumping.

Grand National 2015 Betting Guide

Every year the nation descends upon their local bookies or online bookmaker to have a punt on the Grand National, it is almost a rite of passage for the UK public. One thing that people can agree on when it comes to this 4m 3f marathon race, is that it is a gamble on the day and any horse has a chance when it comes down to it. However, using past statistics to rule out horses and help you make decisions has always been the best way to do it in our eyes, and last year we picked out the 2nd placed horse, Balthazar King, for the second year in a row. This year, fingers crossed, we can go one better.

The statistical trends that we look for when picking our horses are the following:

– Carrying between 10 and 11 and a half stone

– Between the age of 9 & 11

– Rated above 135

– Had at least one run over the Grand National fences

This narrows the field down substantially, and from these we have picked our strongest fancies which are the following:

Looks to have been a little overlooked in the betting and ticks all the boxes when it comes to the above statistics sitting in nicely. Had a couple of decent prep runs in preparation for this and although stamina is not guaranteed, has shaped as if this sort of trip is comfortably within grasp, notably third in the 3m6f North Yorkshire Grand National Handicap Chase. He is an accurate jumper and was 2nd in his only start at this course back in 2013.

At 20/1 looks sure to give a good account on Saturday.Has looked a better horse than the one that took on these fences in 2013. Never taken a fall in his career

Whoever you are picking as your Grand National Runners good luck!
